Lily Pressed Metal – Splashback installed over existing tiles for a quick, easy bathroom update
The Lily pressed metal pattern is used to cover the existing tiles on this bathroom splashback. This is a quick, effective way to cover unsightly tiles and going over the tiles means that you won’t create a mess and damage the walls.
Using aluminium capping and angle to cover the exposed edges of the tiles ensures that the finished job will be neat and tidy. To coordinate with the panels the capping and angle were powdercoated to match the panels in Deep Pool (Satin). This colour is part of the Dulux Duralloy powdercoat range and is one of the many finishes that Period Details can offer to you.
David used blue painters tape in two sections. The tape ensure that the silicone is fitted neatly. A silicone colour to match was not available so he used the Maxisil “N” clear.
